Realme U1 Receiving March Security Patch Update, to get Android Pie soon

The Realme U1 that was launched last year with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system is now getting a new update. The sub-brand of Oppo has announced that it will be rolling out a minor software update which will be March Android security patch to the device along with the ability to unlock the bootloader. It will be helpful to the users to experiment with features and software on the smartphone.

Furthermore, the companies CEO, Madhav Shet has recently tweeted that Realme 1, Realme 2 Pro and Realme U1 will be getting the nightscape mode o for low light photography along with Android 9 Pie and he also indicated that the three phones will be Android Pie update soon in the first half of 2019. The rollout of the update will be gradual and the user will be able to download it directly and install it. It will also be bringing new protection to the phone from security threats like malware and Viruses.

Well, Nightscape is a new feature which is similar to Night Sight that we have seen on Google Pixel devices that enhance low-light photography which will also improve the photography images. The Realme U1 comes with 6.3” 1080 display and will be powered with 3500mAh battery and supports fast charging up to 10W. It has a 13MP camera sensor on the back along with a 2MP secondary sensor.

The Realme U1 is powered with an Helio P70 SoC along with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB storage option. The company has included a fingerprint sensor on the rear to enhance the security levels of the device and the handset is currently available for Rs. 9,999 on Amazon India and Realme e-stores and other offline stores across India.
