Every one knows Realme is a sub-brand of Oppo and has launched few devices in the recent past which have received a good response in the market and now the company is all set to launch another smartphone in India called as the Realme U1. The news has been confirmed officially and the upcoming handset will be announced on November 28th, exclusively on Amazon. The company has launched a teaser, which hints the Realme U1 to come with a MediaTek Helio P70 processor, which is also the flagship chipset from MediaTek.

Moreover, the teaser also indicates a water drop notch like we have already seen on the companies Realme 2 Pro smartphone. Nothing about the specs is mentioned but as per the earlier speculations, the Realm one is touted be coming with an FHD+ resolution along with a 19:9 aspect ratio on its display along with the water drop notch. The device might be launched in at least 4GB of RAM and might also feature a 6GB and 8GB option also along with 64 GB and 128GB of storage.

To power the handset, there will be a MediaTek Helio P70 SoC as mentioned earlier. The Realme U1 is expected to be a selfie-centric device, and even the latest teaser hints the same. Although there is no information on the selfie sensor used on it, there should be a 16MP main camera with RGB sensor and a 2 or5 MP depth sensor which will be offering portrait mode or even photos with a varied depth of field. The device might come with the latest Android 9.0 Operating system but it is not confirmed yet.

In terms of the design, the Realme U1 is expected to be similar to the Realme 2 Pro smartphone although with a different hardware. The device will be Amazon exclusive and same has been teased Amazon also. The device might be priced at around Rs. 20,000 for the top end model and the basic model might be priced around Rs. 18,000 but not is officially mentioned as of now.
