OPPO introduced the new R-series in 2013 to sell higher mid-range smartphones. While it is initially limited to just China, the company is now selling the OPPO R series smartphones in Asia and Europe. Almost five years after introducing the new OPPO R series, the company is now teasing to launch it in the Indian market. India is the also biggest foreign market for most of the Chinese companies including OPPO.

Earlier this month, the company recently launched the OPPO R17 Pro as OPPO RX17 Pro in Europe. While the company is teasing to soon launch the OPPO R-series smartphone in India, we expect them to introduce the OPPO RX17 Pro. The device will be priced higher than the OPPO F-series and features the latest innovations. The device will be including 50W (10V/5A) Super VOOC Flash Charge technology that can charge the device from 0% to 40% in just 10 minutes.

It sports 6.4-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display and comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. However, it still runs Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.2 skin on top. It will also become the first OPPO smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor to launch in India. The OPPO R17 Pro features a triple camera setup on the rear including a variable aperture sensor and a TOF 3D sensor. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
