In March this year, Realme launched its latest budget smartphone Realme 3 in India. It was then launched in Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue, and Classic Black color options. Now, the press renders of the Realme 3 in all-new Diamond Red got leaked. Just like the earlier launched Realme 1 and Realme 2 smartphones, the Realme 3 in Diamond Red color variant also offers diamond cut finish on the rear. The new color looks much better than the earlier options and the diamond cut finish gives a premium look to this sub-Rs 10,000 smartphone.
The Realme 3 in new Diamond Red color is said to be available in 3GB+64GB, 3GB+32GB, and 4GB+64GB storage variants. While the exact availability details are not yet known, it will be launching very soon in India. The specifications of the device will remain unchanged. It comes with a 6.2-inch IPS display with HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) resolution and19:9 aspect ratio. The device also offers Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front. Under the hood, the Realme 3 comes packed with 12nm MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It is also the first smartphone to run on Android 9.0 Pie based ColorOS 6 out of the box.
In terms of optics, the Realme 3 sports a 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture on the rear. On the front, it offers a 13MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture which can also be used for face unlock. There is also a circular fingerprint scanner on the rear. The device comes with a triple card slot for adding two nano SIM cards and a single MicroSD card. It is backed by a 4,230mAh battery and comes with a 5V/2A (10W) power adapter.
