Update: Razer today confirmed the Razer Phone 2 launch date as October 10th. As mentioned below, the Razer Phone 2 will be looking same as its successor, at least from the front. The hardware will be on par with other flagship Android smartphones, if not better. While we already came to know key specifications, we will be seeing more leaks in the coming days.

Earlier: Recently, Razer confirmed to soon launch the Razer Phone 2 as the successor to the Razer Phone. The Razer Phone launched in November 2017 is the company’s first ever smartphone. After the Razer Phone launch, we have a few more smartphone launches with ‘Gaming Smartphone’ tag. While there is no information about the launch date of the Razer Phone 2, we expect the company to launch it in the month of November.

Now, the leaked image of the Razer Phone 2 reveals the front view of the device. It looks exactly similar to the last year’s Razer Phone. However, there is visual of the back view of the device. On the front, the device might continue to use the same 5.7-inches IGZO IPS LCD display with Quad HD+ (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. While the original Razer Phone features the best speakers ever offered with a smartphone, there is very little chance to see an upgrade in that department.

The thick bezels on the top and bottom of the display will feature the front-firing stereo speakers with dual THX-certified amplifiers. On the rear, we will continue to see the dual camera setup. The key specifications of the Razer Phone 2 were recently revealed by the Antutu. It sports 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform coupled with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

While the Razer Phone 2 will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, it should be receiving the Android 9.0 Pie update by the end of this year. Compared to other Snapdragon 845-powered smartphones, the Razer Phone 2 has scored an impressive 2,83,397 score on Antutu. Also, the Razer Phone 2 might feature the backlit logo with Chroma LED effects. Takes these details with a pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement of the Razer Phone 2.
