Pocophone F1 Starts receiving May Security Patch, Android Q Update Confirmed

Back in April, the Pocofone F1 received MIUI 10.3.4.0 update which bought in Widevince L1 support along with Game Turbo to the smartphone. Now the device is getting the MIUI 10.3.5.0 update which will also bring Android security patch for the month of May 2019. The size of the update is 390MB that will be bringing customizable lock screen clock that can be accessed by going to the settings of the phone and then tapping on the lock screen and password option and then selects Advanced settings.
The update won’t allow this clock to be working with other third-party themes. The update also optimizes sorting principles for Wi-FI networks and fixes the issues of the dual apps disappearing after a reboot. Furthermore, the device is also confirmed to be getting Android Q update but nothing is mentioned about the time frame of the same. The information was shared by the Global Head of Pocophone – Alvin Tse.
To remind you the Pocophone F1 was the flagship phone for the year 2018 which was powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB / 8GB RAM options. The device came with a 6.18 1080 x 2246 pixels display with 82.2 percent screen to body ratio. Talking about the camera, there is a 12MP main camera sensor, along with a 5MP camera with a depth sensor and features dual LED-flash and HDR along with panorama features. There is also a 20MP main camera sensor. To power the device there is a 4000mAh battery along with the support for Quick Charge 3.0 support.
There are connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi along with sensors like infrared, Face recognition and also there is also a fingerprint sensor on the rear.
