A few days earlier we have seen Xiaomi announcing that Poco F1 has amassed 700k users and on this occasion, the company has made a permanent price cut of Rs. 1,000 on all variants of Poco F1 smartphone in India with immediate effect. The device is now available with the new pricing on Mi.com, Flipkart and also on Mi Home store. The announcement was made via a tweet from Poco India and the Poco F1 will start going for sale for a starting price of Rs. 19,999.
As we know, Poco F1 is available in the country in four different option, while the base variant comes with 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage option, while the next variant comes with the same 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage for Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 22,999 respectively. There is also an 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage variant which is priced at Rs. 27,999 while the Armoured Edition of the device with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in Kevlar back is priced at Rs. 28,999.
The Poco F1 is the most affordable smartphone running on Snapdragon 845 chipset and was launched with Android 8.1 Oreo OS based on Xiaomi’s MIUI 9.6 with a customized Poco launcher. Recently it got the MIUI 10 update on the device as it promised earlier and also announced that the device will receive the latest Android 9 Pie operating system very soon but no specific time frame has been mentioned.
The Poco F1 comes with 6.18-inch FHD+ display with 1080 x 2246 pixel resolutions with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. The handset comes with a 12MP main rear camera along with a secondary 5MP camera with many AI based features. There is also a 20MP camera on the front with soft LED flash along with AI features.
