POCO F1 Lite with Snapdragon 660 SoC Spotted Online

Last year, Xiaomi introduced a new sub-brand called POCO (a.k.a POCOPHONE) to sell flagship smartphones with an aggressive price tag. The POCO F1 is the first ever smartphone to be launched by POCO. It packs 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform and the base variant was launched for just Rs 20,999. However, the company has made a few compromises like opting for the polycarbonate body and LCD display.
Also, the POCO F1 could be the only flagship smartphone to show ads within the UI. In terms of performance, the POCO F1 is surely a steal deal at sub Rs 20,000. While everyone is expecting the POCO F2 powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, the company might actually launch a new budget smartphone. The POCO F1 Lite powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform is now spotted on Geekbench.
We have already seen several leaks about Xiaomi Uranus, it could be the codename for the POCO F1 Lite. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and might cost around Rs 10,000. Recently, Redmi launched the Redmi Note 7 with the same Snapdragon 660 SoC for just Rs 9,999. The device has scored 1341 on single-core test and 4830 on multi-core test. It also runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and will offer MIUI skin on top.
As of now, there is no official confirmation from the company about the launch of POCO F1 Lite. Looking at the current trend, we expect the POCO F1 Lite to come with a waterdrop notch and gradient finish glossy body. Earlier today, Xiaomi has confirmed to launch its first ever Android Go smartphone in India on March 19. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
