POCO F1 has launched in India a few months ago and Xiaomi has followed it up with Kevlar Armoured Edition which came with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and now has launched a new version called as the Armoured Edition with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in India. The device has been priced at Rs. 23,999 and it uses Kevlar aramid fiber giving it a premium look and feel.
The POCO F1 smartphone got a permanent price cut of Rs. 1,000 in India across all the variants and now will be available for a starting price of Rs 19,999. The new version of the POCO F1 will be available via mi.com and Flipkart for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Recently we have seen the device receiving MIUI 10 update and was followed by Android 9.0 Pie update along with MIUI 10.1.
Coming to the specifications of this device, the Armoured Edition will come with 6.18-inch 2246 x 1080 pixels Full HD+ screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. Under the hood, there is an Octa-Core Qual comm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 630 GPU. The device now runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system based on MIUI 10. There is a 12MP rear camera with dual LED flash and Sony IMX363 sensor, Dual Pixel autofocus along with a 5MP secondary Samsung camera sensor.
There is also a 20MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture size. The handset comes with a fingerprint sensor as well as IR face unlocking system to enhance the security levels.
