Pantel Technologies Private Limited has launched another low-cost Android Tablet under the brand name ‘Penta T-Pad’ in the Indian market. The Penta T-Pad WS704Q will be exclusively available on Homeshop 18 for a price of Rs.5,999. As per the company the tablet was launched to promote the Digital India campaign. It packs some entry specifications and even we can’t expect anything better at this price.

Penta T-Pad WS704Q Tablet

The tablet packs a 7-inch WXGA (1024×600) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage along with an external microSD card slot for storage expansion upto another 32GB.

The device has a Li-Ion battery of 4,000mAh capacity that can give upto 6 hours of music playback and can last upto 158 hours on standby. It still runs on the outdated Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and also feels bulky weighing at 306 grams. Coming to the camera, it has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The tablet also misses the 4G LTE but offers other basic connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and microUSB port.

The tablet supports dual SIM dual standby with 3G on both the SIM’s. As a launch offer the user who brought from Homeshop18 will also get a free keyboard for free. Though we don’t recommend this tablet, there are few other tablets that are priced below Rs.10,000 and offers better specifications.
