Pansonic P66 Mega is the latest smartphone from the company to launch in the Indian market. It comes with a big bezels on all the four sides making it bigger in size even for a 5-inch screen size. The device supports dual SIM’s but lacks the 4G LTE or else this might be a better choice than the other devices at this price range.
Announcing the launch of the P66 Mega, Mr. Pankaj Rana, Business Head at Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said,

The growing numbers of mobile internet users in India is proof of the digital aspirations of Indians today. By deploying a multi-language portfolio in our latest device, Panasonic seeks to connect Indians through smartphone technology to the world of opportunities in mobile banking, online shopping, social networking and virtual entertainment.”
The device sports a 5-inch HD (1280x 720) IPS display and comes with customized Icon UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Under the hood is the unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and supports only 3G and 2G networks.
It has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The USP of the device is its 3,200mAh battery that can easily pass through a single day of usage. Even with a 5-inch display, the P66 Mega measures 70.9 x 142.5 x 8.4mm. According to the company, the device is said to support 21 Indian regional languages.
Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It will be available in the colors – Electric Blue, Rose Gold, and Russet Brown. Panasonic is available to purchase at Rs. 7,990 and the company is also offering a screen guard and a back cover for free along with the smartphone.
