Lava A71 4G with 5″ HD Display & 4G LTE Listed at Rs. 6,499

Lava A71 is the latest entry-level smartphone from the company launched in India today. This is the most affordable 4G LTE smartphone from Lava priced at Rs. 6,499. It comes with an alloy frame around the device and a polycarbonate back cover. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is mentioned to receive the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

It sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. There is 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. Talking about the camera, it has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. The 2MP selfie camera on the Lava A71 also sports an LED flash for capturing the selfies in the low-light conditions.

The device supports dual SIM dual standby and is backed by a 2,500mAh removable battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. At this same price, last week the same company has launched the Lava X3 smartphone which lacks the 4G LTE support. The device with a different design but sports almost same specifications and even has 2GB of RAM compared to the 1GB of RAM on Lava A71.

The Lava X3 also comes sports better cameras, it has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The Lava A71 comes available in Blue & Silver and is already listed on an online store for a lower price of Rs. 5,849. Stay tuned for the official details from the company.
