We have seen many new smartphones launching with bigger batteries like 4,000mAh to 5,000mAh capacities. While major manufacturers are providing best possible battery capacities among their lineup, few Chinese manufacturers are going beyond that. Oukitel is one manufacturer that has been continuously launching the smartphones with bigger batteries. Last year, it had launched the K7000 and K10000 smartphones with 7,000mAh and 10,000mAh battery capacities respectively. Now in 2017, it came up with the Oukitel K10000 Pro which is an upgraded variant of the previously launched Oukitel K10000. The new Oukitel K10000 Pro is expected to go on sale in June, and the final pricing is yet to be announced.
As the device comes with a huge 10,000mAh battery, the time for a full charge will be a lot more than the regular device. But with the new Pro variant, the company is including a 12V/2A fast charger within the package. According to the company, it takes three hours to charge the device from 0% to 100%. With such a large battery, the Oukitel K10000 Pro weighs almost 292.5 grams which is slightly lower than the Oukitel K10000. Talking about the other specifications, it sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.
It includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, whereas the earlier launched variant came with just 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. As of now, there is no information about the cameras on this device. The earlier launched variant came with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera. We also expect the device to come with the latest version of the Android OS. From the above featured image, we can see the device to feature the metallic frame with faux leather kind of finish on the rear. Just below the rear camera, we can also spot the fingerprint sensor. The Oukitel K10000 Pro should offer dual SIM dual standby support with 4G LTE connectivity.
Last year, there are few leaks suggesting the company to launch a high-end variant called Oukitel K10000S. It is said t0 come with the same design as its predecessor, but the internal specs are expected to improve. Mainly, the device to rumored to pack MediaTek Helio P20 processor replacing the MT6735 processor. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for the official pricing of the new Oukitel K10000 Pro.
