OPPO, the second largest global smartphone manufacturer from China, is rumored to launch the Find 9 smartphone later this year. It will be the successor to Find 7 smartphone that was launched in March 2014. The Find 7 is also the first smartphone to launch in India with Quad HD resolution display. Today, the screenshot posted by Antutu on their Weibo page suggests a new variant of Find 7 with the model number X9007 to launch with latest specifications.

While 2014 launched Find 7 came with Quad HD resolution; the Find 7a came with Full HD resolution. Now the leaked Find 7 variant also comes with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution display. It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow based ColorOS overlaid. Much like the original Find 7, this new device also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device might come with MicroSD card slot as well.

Even though the device couple of years old, it came with a 13MP rear camera that record videos at 4K resolution. For selfies, it includes a 5MP front camera. Now the latest variant features an improved 16MP rear camera and a 4MP front camera. It might include the SmartSensor Image Stabilization and Super VOOC Flash Charging technology that are introduced at the MWC 2016. Unlike 2014 launched Find 7, it might come with an all-metal unibody design.

We also expect to see the upcoming device to launch in two variants with few differences in specifications. While the Find 9 is rumored to launch next month in China, we need to wait for the official confirmation about the device name. The recently launched OPPO R9 and R9 Plus which came with 16MP selfie cameras have been a huge hit in China. The same device was launched as OPPO F1 Plus in other Asian markets including as India.
