After Realme announcing its latest Quad rear camera phones with upcoming Realme 5 series, its former parent company OPPO is all set to bring its Quad rear cameras in the same month. The successor to the OPPO Reno — the new OPPO Reno 2 is all set to be launched on August 28, a week after the Realme 5 series launch in India.

The Chinese manufacturer has officially teased on its Twitter handle with a teaser image revealing what to expect from the upcoming OPPO Reno 2 smartphone. Firstly, the teaser hints the Reno 2 would be retrieving the same Shark fin design for the pop-up selfie camera on the top. Unlike the earlier Reno series, which has been first launched in China and India next, this time, the company brings the Reno 2 to the Indian markets first.

The interesting part of the teaser is the OPPO Reno 2’s rear camera setup. The company is bringing four cameras on the back that are said to be capable of capturing photos with 20x Zoom. This would be twice of the zoom capabilities of the predecessor, OPPO Reno, which featured 10x zoom capabilities. Similar to the Reno’s design elements, the Reno 2 is also expected to feature a full screen no notch bezel display — thanks to the Shark fin pop-up camera.

With OPPO Reno 2, the display further is expected to be featuring under-screen fingerprint sensor tech similar to its predecessor. As of now, more details of the upcoming OPPO Reno 2 is yet to be known. However, the device is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 700 series chipset. Nonetheless, with the launch being imminent by the end of this month (August 28), suggest your expectations with the OPPO Reno 2 in the comment box below.
