OPPO K3 With Snapdragon 710 SoC to go Official on July 19, confirms Amazon

The new mid-range entrant from OPPO — the OPPO K3 is all set to launch on July 19 in India. The K3 has been launched earlier in China, and now Amazon India page has confirmed the launch date of upcoming OPPO K3 smartphone. Last week, the company had teased the device on Amazon India banner page, suggesting the launch of the OPPO K3 device is imminent.
Amazon India’s OPPO K3 teaser page has further revealed on what to expect from the upcoming mid-range phone from the Chinese OEM maker. To start with, the OPPO K3 will be featuring a 6.5-inch Full-Screen AMOLED display that is said to be coming with a bunch of additional features including — Non-Stroboscopic Low Light and Eye Protection modes, for instance. Similar to the variant launched in China, the OPPO K3 in the country will also be featuring a full-screen display without any notch or whatsoever.
To achieve the fullscreen display, the Chinese manufacturer has also implemented the pop-up camera, which the company calls it an Intelligent Rising Camera. The pop-up selfie shooter is said to be featuring AI Beautification modes as well. On the rear, the OPPO K3 pretty much appears to be an OPPO Reno series phone but with dual rear cameras featuring Ultra Night Mode 2.0 for low-light photography and the device also supports Built-in Image Stabilization as well.
The Amazon teaser page further reveals that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC powers the phone followed by an 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage capacities. The chipset is also backed by GameBoost 2.0 mode for a more enhanced gaming experience with modes such as — Frame Boost and Game Boost. Further, the OPPO K3 features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for authentication that claims to have up to 28.5% faster unlocking speeds.
And, lastly, the OPPO K3 is powered by a 3765mAh battery, which is further supported by OPPO’s VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology via USB Type-C and also claims to have a 25% decrease in charging times as well. The OPPO K3 ships with Android Pie-based ColorOS6 out-of-the-box and also the device is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The OPPO K3 also has Dolby Atmos support for more enhanced sound quality.
Nonetheless, this successor to the OPPO K1 — the OPPO K3 smartphone will be launched next week and will be an Amazon Exclusive in India. And, as for pricing, the new OPPO K3 could be priced around 16k-20k price bracket in the country, considering for the price it launched in China earlier.
