After the successful launch of the OnePlus 6 earlier this year, the much-anticipated device from the Chinese device maker – the OnePlus 6T has been officially launched. The Amazon-exclusive OnePlus 6T comes at a price of $549 for the base variant. We have received the Mirror Black variant of the OnePlus 6T; however, it also comes in Midnight Black color as well.
The OnePlus 6T sports a new 6.41-inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The new display has a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The display features a smaller notch unlike the OnePlus 6 that beholds the front facing camera while the speaker grille is hosted on top of it hence resulting in the more prominent display than the OnePlus 6.
The new design element comes with the fingerprint relocation since it is now placed under the display which the company calls it “Screen Unlock.” This setup is comparable to that of Oppo R17. The OnePlus 6T showcases an all-glass panel on the rear similar to what we have seen on its predecessor, as stated earlier, the overall design of the OnePlus 6T looks very much identical to the Oppo R17.
The 6T attains the usual power button, alert slider and volume rockers as seen on the earlier OnePlus 6. The connectivity on the OnePlus 6T includes Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, LTE, and Wi-Fi. And lastly, the OnePlus 6T weighs 185 grams and comes in 157.5 x 74.8 x 8.2 mm dimensions. The new OnePlus packs in the Fast Charge (5V 4A) adapter in the box along with the USB 2.0, Type-C cable, a SIM ejector tool and a protective case for the phone.
