Earlier this year, Nubia launched the flagship Nubia Z17 smartphone as the successor to Nubia Z11. The Chinese smartphone brand also launched the Nubia Z17 Mini targeting the budget segment. Now, a new Nubia smartphone with the model number NX591J is spotted on the benchmarking website, Geekbench. Though there is no official confirmation about the device name, it is expected to be the rumored Nubia Z17 Lite. It runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with the heavily customized Nubia UI 5.0 on top.
It is powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and comes coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. The Nubia Z17 Lite also packs 6GB of RAM which should be more than enough to offer lag-free experience. Coming to the performance, the device has scored 1250 points on the single-core test and 3867 points on multi-core test. While the Geekbench listing hasn’t revealed other details of the device, the TENAA listing listed all the key specifications of the device.
The Nubia Z17 Lite sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Along with 6GB of RAM, the device also comes with 64GB of internal storage. Just like the Nubia Z17 & Z17 Mini, the Z17 Lite also features dual camera setup on the rear. For selfies, there is a 16MP sensor placed on the front. It also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity. With all these specifications, the device is kept powered on by a 3,100mAh non-removable battery.
It measures 152.8 x 72.55 x 7.95 mm and weighs 169 grams. The device will be available in Black, Silver, and Gold color options. It features an all metal unibody design with a 2.5D curved glass on the front. The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge of the device. Beneath the display is the iconic red circle capacitive home button. The circular fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear of the device. With the TENAA certification and benchmark listings, the official launch of the Nubia Z17 Lite smartphone can be expected in the few weeks.
The Nubia Z17 smartphone came with 23MP + 12MP dual camera setup on the rear and a 16MP selfie camera on the front. It also offers 2X optical zoom as seen on the iPhone 7 Plus and OnePlus 5. Talking about the other specifications, it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC. The device comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128G storage options. It is backed by a 3,200mAh non-removable battery that can be charged from 0% to 50% in just 25 minutes using the Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+ fast charging technology.
