Nubia X Launched with Dual Displays, SD845 & 8GB RAM in China

Nubia has been working on dual displays and prior to the launch the Nubia X already appeared on TENAA certification website along with many photo leaks. Now the company has launched the Nubia X with a dual screen display on the occasion of its 6th anniversary. The primary screen comes with an edge to edge display offering 93.6 percent screen-to-body ratio and 0.8mm thin bezels. The Nubia X with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage option is priced at RMB 3299, while the 8GB + 128 and the 8GB + 256GB storage variants are priced at RMB 3699 and RMB 4199 respectively.

Coming to the specs sheet, the main selling point of the smartphone will be its dual-screen display design as the smartphone will be coming with 6.26-inch LCD FHD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) bezel-less display on one side while there is a 5.1-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) OLED screen on the other side of it. Under the hood, there will be a Qualcomm powered Onto-Core Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The handset will be available in 256GB storage option and has a 3,800mAh Battery on the rear with fast charging support.

The company has provided two rear cameras which are placed above the smaller display while the main camera sensors is 24MP snapper while the secondary camera is a 16MP sensor. There isn’t any selfie camera as the camera above the smaller display can be used as selfie cameras. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side and the recent TENNA listing revealed that the device will be coming with the sensors like Gravity, Distance and Ambient señor.

The handset measures 192 mm x 73.3 mm x 8.4 mm and weighs 181 grams. It will be coming out of the box, with Android 8.1 Oreo Operating system with the companies own Nubia UI 6.0 on top and will get further updates in the future. The recent Master Lu benchmarking of the device gave an overall score of 311,411 and CPU and GPU scores of 130,313 and 108,705 respectively. The device will go for sale starting from 5th November in China and pre-order starts from today. The Nubia X will be available in Black and Gradient Blue color variants.
