After unveiling the Nokia 8 flagship smartphone with Snapdragon 835 in August last year, HMD Global came up with the Nokia Sirocco with a premium looking design. We are yet to see any Snapdragon 845-powered smartphone from Nokia. While the other manufacturers are launching latest flagship smartphones with Snapdragon 845 at the MWC 2018, the Nokia 8 Sirocco came with last-gen Snapdragon 835 chipset.
Now, the newly leaked image of the rumored Nokia 9 does hint that a new flagship Nokia phone launch is not too far away. We have already HMD Global using ZEISS lens for a few smartphones. With the Nokia 9, the company will be introducing pental-lens setup on the rear. Along with five cameras on the rear of this device, we can also spot dual-tone LED flash and also a laser autofocus sensor.
We have already seen Huawei P20 Pro coming with triple rear cameras. While recently launched OPPO R17 Pro also featured triple-lens setup on the rear, the leaks suggest the OnePlus 6T to share the same triple camera setup. Coming to the Nokia 9, there is no fingerprint sensor on the rear. We expect the device to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also comes with 3D curved glass back body.
The Nokia 9 will be coming with the model number TA-1094. The label on the rear also confirms the dual SIM dual standby support. We will be seeing more leaks about this device in the coming days. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
