Nokia has already launched a couple of smartphones in the market this year. We already have the new Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 out there, however, it looks like there is a lot more in store for us. Previously we had reported about the company planning on launching a handful of new smartphones as well. And on the same lines, we now have some new report which gives us an early look at the upcoming Nokia flagship smartphone. Yes, it is Nokia 8.

This new Nokia 8 smartphone has now been spotted online, where the source has posted an image of the smartphone showing both the front as well as the back of the device. The source has confirmed that the handset in question is indeed the Nokia 8 and looking at the image, it certainly does looks like a premium handset. First, let’s take a look at the device itself and see what we can expect from the smartphone later when it comes out.

Taking a look at the smartphone’s front side, the first thing which you will see is the display which is expected to measure 5.3-inch. The expected display resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels, however, it hasn’t been confirmed yet. The bezels to the left and the right side of the display are fairly thin, but there are huge bezels on both top as well as the bottom of the display. There is, however, a fingerprint scanner which sits to the bottom and we can also see the capacitive touch buttons.

Well, coming to the back of the device, the first thing which you will notice is the dual rear Zeiss optics. These sensors are expected to be 13MP each. Other than that, we just have the Nokia branding which sits below the camera. Now coming to the specs of this smartphone, it looks like the Nokia 8 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and it will be coupled with 6GB of RAM. A 64GB of internal storage is also expected, however, it is yet to be confirmed if it will have an expandable storage.

As far as the software on this smartphone is concerned, it is expected that Nokia will run a near stock version of Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. As far as the launch and the availability are concerned, the company is expected to debut this device on July 31st. It has been reported that it will cost under 600 Euros and hence it looks like it will cost less than 600 USD in the U.S. However, there is no info regarding the U.S. launch or its launch in any other markets. If you wish to be the first one to know about it, then be sure to stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more info.
