After launching the all-new Nokia 3310 at MWC 2017, HMD Global came up with the 3G variant of the Nokia 3310 in the second half of 2017. Earlier, we have reported that the company will soon launch the Nokia 3310 with 4G VoLTE in China. Today, the company has officially unveiled the Nokia 3310 4G in China, and it also supports VoLTE. As of now, there is no information about the pricing or the availability of this feature phone.
On the design front, it looks similar to the 2G and 3G variants of the Nokia 3310. It sports a 2.4-inch display with 320 × 240 pixels resolution. The listing didn’t reveal the information about the processor or the RAM on this device. However, it comes in two variants with 256MB and 512MB storage options, and there is also a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage upto 64GB. As found on the TENAA listing, the Nokia 3310 4G runs on Alibaba’s YunOS.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The Nokia 3310 4G will be only available in single SIM variant. It is backed by a 1,200mAh battery that is rated to give up to 15 hours of talk time on 2GB and 5 hours of talk time on the 4G network. Talk about the standby time, the device will last up to 12 days on 4G and upto 15 days on 2G.
