New Update to Google Pay Brings Gmail integration – Details

We already know Gmail has been integrated with many Google application and now the widely used Payment app from Google is also getting the Gmail integration. Yes, Google pay is getting updated and it will be able to browse through the emails and will be adding relevant information to its system automatically. This will indeed make it easy to keep all the things on a track and you do not have to open the Gmail every time to access your tickets, boarding pass, etc.

This new update should be hitting your device soon and after the update, you need to enable the option manually by heading into the settings of the application and click on the General section. Now you can turn On or Off the Gmail Imports depending on your choice. Once the feature is turned On it will be adding all the Loyalty card, Movie tickets, Coupons, Passes and more to the Google Pay that are in the Gmail inbox.

If these are deleted from the email app or the email is deleted then it will also be removed from the Google Pay app also. It makes sure that the user does not have to go through the Gmail inbox every time. It also makes it easy when you receive a coupon for payment in your Gmail app and making payment via Google Pay the coupon is shown and you don’t have to scroll through all your emails.

You should be getting the On/Off toggle key once you app being updated to the v2.86 or higher and this update is now rolling for Android. Have you received the new update?
