New OxygenOS Beta Brings Parking Location features & April Security Patch

OnePlus is rolling out OxygenOS beta to its OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphones. The latest update will bring security patch for the April month and alongside it, there will be many new system features. There is also a new parking location feature added with the update which is similar to the Google Maps feature. The update also includes a landscape quick reply function which is supported for few applications.

Well, the parking feature is something everyone should think of. The user will be able to take a photo of the car with geolocation or even mark the vehicle on the map for convenience. The parking features can be found in the launcher as an app to get easy access. Furthermore, there will be a quick reply function in the landscape for applications like WhatsApp and a few more.

The new update will also bring improved networks speed display along with quick settings shortcuts and an improved page indicator. Furthermore, the update is available for those who are on the beta channel and the final update should be rolled out soon if there are no reports of bugs. According to the changelogs, the update will bring the Android security patch to 2019.04.

It also brings supported shortcuts to access corresponding interfaces in the Quick settings and supported quick reply in the notification bar.
