The Fitbit Versa was launched in the month of March last year and now a new smartwatch from Fitbit has leaked online which could be the successor of the Fitbit Versa. Fitbit is very well known for fitness tracker space and almost a year after its Fitbit Versa these leaks come as an indications to launch its successor at the same time of the year. The upcoming device will be coming in four new color options and looks similar to its predecessor.
The leaked images reveal that the smartwatch will be available in Cyan Blue, Silver, Purple and Rose Pink color options. There is no information on the specs sheet as of now but we cannot expect major improvements over the previous version. The information which is known as of now reveals that it will be coming with up to 50M water resistance along with an aerospace grade aluminum case and a pulse heart rate monitor.
The original Fitbit Versa lacked the GPS and looks like even the upcoming device will be missing out on this feature. There is a 6-axis sensor which could add gesture support to the interface and could be used for tracking specific workout exercises. The renders also show that the back will be having the same sensor layout and the charging port and the display on the front does not reveal much as of now.
There is not much information that could be shared as of now and we might see more leaks or official information from the company in the next few days. There is a possibility that it could also be a special edition of the original Fitbit. What are your views? Comment in the section below and share your thoughts on the same.
