Motorola announced its One Action smartphone last week that comes with an Action camera on its back. This camera is capable of capturing 1080p videos at 60fps with 16MP sensor and ultra-wide-angle lens. The device is now confirmed to be launched in India on August 23rd via Flipkart. This mid-range smartphone comes with a punch-hole display on the front that houses the selfie camera. Furthermore, the Motorola One Action is also a part of the Android One program and promises regular monthly updates.
The device is priced at €260 in Europe, Brazil, and Mexico but the Indian pricing should be known soon. The e-commerce giant, Flipkart has listed the handset in Denim Blue color option and we can expect Pearl White option also to be included soon. The handset comes with a 6.3-inch punch-hole display with Full HD+ (2520 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio and is powered with Samsung’s Exynos 9609 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and has 4GB of RAM.
Talking about the camera, there is a 12MP main camera sensor that can record 4K videos at 30fps along with a 5MP depth sensor on the rear and on the front, there is a 12MP selfie camera. There is also an Action Camera on the back which has a 117-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. This camera can capture videos at 1080p at 60fps and there is also a 16MP camera that uses 4-in1 pixel binning to improve the image quality even in low light conditions which are supported by EIS.
The smartphone is IPX2 certified and will be coming with 128GB of onboard storage which can be extended further via microSD card slot. To power the device, the company has included a 3500mAh battery on the back with the support for 10W charger.
