Motorola Moto G7 Could Come with Wireless Charging Support

We have seen many flagship devices coming with wireless charging capability from a long time but there has not been any device from Motorola until now that fits into this column. Although, Motorola is known for making special shell case that enables this feature for its G series phones but doesn’t support wireless charging independently. Looks like things are going to change as Motorola has registered a product which indicates there might be smartphones that will be supporting the wireless charging feature.

Moto Qi wireless charging pad has been spotted on the Wireless Power Consortium website with a 10W charger which is sleek and puck-shaped with a sons-slip surface and base along with a LED charging indicator on it. There is still a change that this Qi wireless charger might still work with the special case that Motorola has been banking on for wireless charging but there is no official information on the same.

The special that was used for wireless charging was called as Moto Mod shell which is currently out of the stock at Motorola’s official store indication some other technology to be bought in. Well, the upcoming Moto G7 renders that the device will come with a reflective back and it could be made of glass making it enable for in-device wireless charging. The device is expected to come into the market in the first quarter of 2019 and nothing is confirmed by the company till date.

We are expected to see more leaks coming about the Motorola’s Moto G7 smartphone since the company has seen a good response with its G-series of devices.
