After launching an array of different smartphones, Motorola has decided to launch yet another new smartphone. This time it is the Moto E4 and the Moto E4 Plus. If you have been following Motorola’s past launches, then you might already be aware of the Moto E series of affordable smartphones. Well, these new ones are the successor to the existing ones and they bring in some noticeable changes. The E4 is priced at $129.99 and the Moto E4 Plus is priced at $179.99.
Talking about the specs of the Moto E4, we are looking at a metal body with a 5-inch HD display on the front. This display is covered by a 2.5D curved glass on the front. Internally it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC which is clocked at 1.4GHz. It is also coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. 16GB is less but you can also expand it via a microSD card for adding some more storage.
The smartphone is kept powered by a 2,800 mAh battery which also rapid charge support. In terms of the camera, we are looking at an 8-megapixel rear f/2.2 lens which is coupled with a LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP f/2.2 shooter which also has a LED flash. It misses out on the fingerprint scanner which is indeed a bummer since most other smartphones even at price range come with one. But still, has the same old water-repellent coating.
Moto E4 Plus
The Moto E4 Plus as mentioned earlier is the successor to the existing Moto E3 Plus smartphone. It features a 5.5-inch display on the front which has a resolution of 1280 x 720. This is also powered by the same Snapdragon 425 SoC which is clocked at 1.14 GHz. It is coupled with 2GB RAM just like the Moto E4 and this device will be offered in 16GB/ 32GB storage configuration. But they both can be expanded via a microSD card for adding more storage.
The Moto E4 Plus packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery which supports fast charging. In terms of the camera, we are looking at a 13-megapixel f/2.0 camera which is coupled with a LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP front-facing selfie camera as well which again has a LED flash. The Moto E4 Plus supports NFC, 4G VoLTE, etc. out of the box.
As mentioned earlier, the Moto E4 is priced at $129.99 which roughly translates to about 8,000 INR, whereas the Moto E4 Plus is priced at $179.99 which roughly translates to about 11,500 INR. The Moto E4 will be an Amazon Prime Exclusive smartphone and you can get it in Licorice Black and Fine Gold finishes.
