Moto Z4 with Waterdrop Notch Display Leaked, Might Sport 48MP Sony IMX586 Camera
In the coming months, Motorola will be unveiling its latest smartphone in the Moto Z series. The new Moto Z4 smartphones will be the successors to last year’s Moto Z3. Since the Moto Z series come with Moto Mod support, the new Moto Z4 looks very much similar to the Moto Z3. However, the large circular camera module on the rear now sports only a single camera sensor. Last year’s Moto Z3 came with 12MP + 12MP dual rear cameras.
The upcoming Moto Z4 might come with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor along with LED flash and laser autofocus. Coming to the front, the device comes with a waterdrop notch display which will offer more immersive experience. There is also a 2.5D curved glass on the rear. While the Moto Z3 offers side-facing fingerprint scanner, the new Moto Z4 might come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. From the above featured image, we can spot the power button and volume rocker on the right edge.
The 16-pin magnetic connector on the bottom rear can be used for connecting the various Moto Mods. Just like its predecessor, the new Moto Z4 should also be compatible with the 5G Moto Mod. In terms of performance, the device might sport 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU. The company will most likely retain the 3.5mm audio jack which has been missing on many other flagship devices.
In the coming months, Motorola is also rumored to launch the Razr-branded foldable smartphone. Based on the leaks, the Razr foldable smartphone could be launched with Snapdragon 710 chipset. It is said to sport a 6.2-inch foldable display with 876 x 2142 pixels resolution and a secondary display with 600 x 800 pixels resolution.
