More than six months after launching the Moto Z2 Force smartphone in the U.S, Motorola now made it officially available in India. It is priced at Rs. 34,999 and comes in Super Black color option. The device will be sold via Flipkart and Moto Hub stores across the country. At a slightly higher price, you are going to find much better alternatives to the Moto Z2 Force. While the ShatterShield display is the highlight for this device, the recent reports confirmed the peeling issue of the top plastic layer.
It comes with a 5.5-inch POLED ShatterShield display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. While it’s hard to crack this plastic display, it will easily get scratches during your regular usage. Unlike its successor, the Moto Z2 Force sports 7000-series Aluminum body. Internally, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor and comes coupled with 6GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU.
There is 64GB of internal storage that can be further expandable via a MicroSD card. In terms of optics, the Moto Z2 Force offers dual rear cameras with a 12MP RGB sensor and 12MP Monochrome sensor. For selfies, there is a mere 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The front-facing home button also comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor. Unlike the international variant, the Indian variant runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
With all these specifications, the smartphone is backed by a 2,730mAh non-removable battery with Turbo Charging support. However, Motorola is bundling the Rs. 5999 worth Moto TurboPower Pack Mod for free with the device. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. You can also connect earlier launched Moto Mods like insta-share projector or 360-degree camera to the Moto Z2 Force.
