After launching the popular Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones, Lenovo is yet to unveil any other new Moto devices in 2017. Though there is no official information, the leaks suggested the company to soon launch quite a few upgrades along with the new Moto C series. The Moto X4 is one of the new devices that is expected to be launched in the next few weeks. It will be the successor to 2015 launched Moto X series devices like Moto X Play and Moto X Style. Last year, the company skipped launching the Moto X smartphones and instead came up with the new Moto Z series with customizable Moto Mods support.

The earlier leaked images unofficially confirmed the Moto X4 (a.k.a Moto X 2017) to come with the dual camera setup. While the exact specifications are not known, the newly leaked image revealed all the key specifications of the device. Just like the new Moto devices, there is a large circular camera module on the rear that holds two camera sensors along with the dual tone LED flash and laser autofocus. While the functionalities aren’t unknown, the company is calling it as a smart camera. It is also said to come with metal and 3D glass, which we think the device to use metallic frame along with curved glass on the front and rear.

The device also supports three carrier aggregation (3CA) for faster data speeds and better network. It also comes with IP68 certification making it both water and dust resistant. The recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 smartphones also came with the same IP68 certification. From the leaked image, we can also find the device to feature the Always-on voice and AI (Artificial Intelligence) integration. The voice from the below video also specified few key specifications of the device but takes these with a pinch as they are yet to be officially confirmed.

Importantly, the device sports the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor with custom Kryo 260 cores and Adreno 512 GPU. It also sports a 5.2-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. As seen with the Moto G5 and G5 Plus smartphones, the Moto X4 also comes with a front-facing physical home button with integrated fingerprint sensor. It packs 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device is backed by a 3,800mAh non-removable battery and includes in-house Turbo Charging technology instead of the Quick Charge 4.0.

Apart from the Moto X4, we also got some information about the other upcoming Moto smartphones from the reliable leakster, Evan Blass. The company will be launching the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus smartphones as the upgraded variants to the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. The Moto G5S comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and full metal body. On the other hand, the Moto G5S Plus comes with 5.5-inch Full HD display and sports dual rear cameras. Coming to the affordable Moto E4 Plus, it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.

As the earlier leaks suggested, the Moto C and Moto C Plus smartphones come with a polycarbonate shell. The 5-inch Moto C Plus is mentioned to feature a 4,000mAh battery. As of now, there is no information about the launch time frame of these devices. Stay tuned on Phoneradar for more details about these upcoming Moto smartphones.
