After the recent leaks about the upcoming Zenfone smartphones, now we got some official confirmation from the quarterly earning’s report. While there is no much information, the company will be launching the Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4S, and Zenfone Max. Just like the Zenfone 3 devices, the new Zenfone 4 devices will be unveiled at the upcoming Computex 2017 scheduled from May 30th to June 3rd. As few leaks suggested, the Zenfone 4 Max will be coming with dual camera setup on the rear. It sports an unibody metal design with curved rear edges.

We expect these devices to come with the latest Zen UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Last year, the company launched the Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, and Zenfone 3 Ultra at the Computex 2016. From the image, we can also spot the front facing physical home button that also comes integrated with a fingerprint sensor. A couple of days back, the company launched a new variant of the Zenfone Go with the model number ZB552KL. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display and packs the Snapdragon 410 SoC. The device still runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Zen UI 3.0 laid on top.

The Zenfone 4 will be the successor to the Zenfone 3, and we hope to see the metal body instead of the fragile glass back body. However, the new Zenfone 4S might be the high-end variant of the Zenfone 4. Before to this, the company uses to launch the Deluxe edition which cost higher than the regular variant and also sports top notch specs. As of now, nothing is mentioned about the phablet version which was introduced just last year. The Zenfone 3 Zoom launched alongside the Zenfone AR is the first ever Asus smartphone to feature dual camera setup.

With the Zenfone 4 Max, the company is bringing the same experience to the entry-level device. In the earning’s report, the company mentioned the Zenfone 4 as “premium luxury” and the Zenfone 4S as the “ultimate luxury” devices. All these devices support dual SIM dual standby with 4G LTE connectivity. We will also see USB Type-C port and fingerprint sensor on all the devices in the Zenfone 4 series. The official specifications and pricing of these upcoming smartphones will be known only on the launch. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
