Earlier this earlier, Motorola unveiled four new smartphones under the Moto G7 series – Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power, and Moto G7 Play. While the Moto G7 Power was already launched in the Indian market, the company today launched the Moto G7 smartphone along with the Motorola One Android One smartphone. As of now, there is no information over the availability of the Moto G7 Plus in India.

Talking about the Moto G7, the device comes with a glossy finish body with curved edges. The company is offering Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front and rear. On the front, it sports a 6.2-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2270 x 1080 pixels) resolution. With the waterdrop notch, the display on this device comes with 19:9 aspect ratio. As seen on the Moto G7 Power, the new Moto G7 also comes powered by the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 250 CPU and Adreno 506 GPU.

The device packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. Coming to the cameras, the Moto G7 offers 12MP + 5MP dual cameras on the rear with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP camera on the front for selfies. The rear camera supports 4K video recording at 30 fps and 720p slo-mo videos at 120 fps.

It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with no bloatware apps pre-installed. However, the device comes with Moto exclusive features like Moto Actions and Moto Display. The Moto G7 is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery and supports 15W TurboPower charging. It measures 157 x 75.3 x 8 mm and weighs 172 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.

The device sports rear-facing fingerprint scanner and also supports face unlock. Both the power button and volume rockers are placed on the right edge. The water repellent coating on this device also makes it splash proof. Coming to the pricing, the Moto G7 is priced at Rs 16,999 and comes in Clear White and Ceramic Black color options.
