Motorola today launched the Moto G6 Plus smartphone in India. The Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play were launched back in June for Rs 13,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively. Now, the newly launched Moto G6 Plus with slightly powerful specifications is priced at Rs 22,499 in India. The device will be sold exclusively through Amazon India and Moto Hub stores. It comes only in Indigo Black color option. The Moto G6 Play looks similar to Moto G6 but comes with in a bigger form factor.
On the front is the 5.9″ IPS display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. In India, the Moto G6 Plus will be coming with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and might get directly upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie.
Both the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus shares the same set of cameras on the rear. The device sports 12MP + 5MP dual cameras on the rear with f/1.7 aperture and a 16MP single selfie camera on the front. Both the cameras on this device come accompanied by a LED flash. The Moto G6 Plus comes with nanocoating on the top which makes it splash proof. The ‘One Button Nav’ on the front also comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor.
It is backed by a 3200mAh non-removable battery that comes with 15W TurboPower fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. It measures 159.9 x 75.5 x 7.99 mm and weighs 165 grams.
