Moto E5 Plus with 6″ 18:9 Display & 5000mAh Battery Launched for Rs 11,999

Earlier this year, Motorola launched the Moto E5, Moto E5 Plus, and Moto E5 Play smartphones alongside the all-new Moto G6 series smartphones. Today, the company has launched the Moto E5 Plus smartphone in India. With the E5 Plus, the company is offering a budget-centric smartphone for media consumption. Even the device also stands out with its glossy finish back body and offers a nice grip with the curved edges.
On the front of the Moto E5 Plus is the 6-inch MaxVision display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion of internal storage.
It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with no bloatware apps. Even the UI on this device loos close to stock Android UI with additional Moto-exclusive apps like Moto Display. The highlight of the device is the built-in 5000mAh non-removable battery that should last more than a single day of usage. Along with the mammoth battery, the company is also offering 15W TurboPower adapter for fast charging.
Talking about the cameras on the Moto E5 Plus, there is a 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. While the front and rear cameras come accompanied by a LED flash, the rear camera also supports laser autofocus. The Moto dimple on the rear now also comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor. The volume rocker and textured power button are placed on the right edge.
It supports dual SIM dual standby, but not dual VoLTE. With the 5,000mAh battery, the device measures 161.9 x 75.3 x 9.35 mm and weighs 200 grams. It comes in Black and Fine Gold color options. Coming to the pricing, the Moto E5 Plus costs Rs 11,999 in India. It will be sold via Amazon.in and Moto Hub stores.
