After kicking off its entry to this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas with Misfit Ray, the affordable fitness tracker, the company has now revealed yet another product. The company has extended the courtesy of its items to the music industry as the California-based firm launched Wireless in-ear headphones, there first ever audio product.
Specter is Misfit’s first smart earphones that promise to wirelessly deliver clean and rich sound. Expanding its presence beyond the wrist (or neck) to your ears, despite its villainous name (James Bond Movie: Spectre), these earphones can be your true companion, day, and night. With capabilities like activity and sleep tracking, this can be a preferred way of tracking health data for audiophiles.
Designed in such a manner that it shouldn’t be the problem to wear it while running, the Specter sports a clip design that allows it to remain secure despite the situation. The brand integrates its popular software service, the Misfit Link, it would allow the user to use the one-touch button for controlling things like smart lights, smartphones’ camera, playback music and much more.
With functions like dedicated voice call microphone, magnetic ear buds and stereo microphones for ambient noise, these earphones can be a steal for its usability. The design partner 1More for Specter in-earphones that have also produced headphones for Xiaomi in the form of Mi Headphones, as well as in partnership with four times Grammy winner and record producer Luca Bignardi.
This tells us that Misfit is quite serious when it comes to introducing a new product. It can be called as a smart move since the headphones with inbuilt fitness tracking could be a thing of 2016 and company has jumped right in the first month of the year. The availability of these fitness-focused headphones is unknown for now, but it is estimated that wearables brand could launch it in Spring this year.
