Micromax Canvas Amaze with 2GB RAM and 13MP Rear Camera Available for Rs. 7,999
Today Micromax had officially launched its first ever 3GB RAM smartphone Canvas 5 for Rs.11,999 and there is also a new mid-range device listed on its official website. Canvas Amaze that comes with the model number Q395 sports some impressive specifications but not that better as seen on Canvas 5. The device can be purchased through online stores at a price of Rs. 7,999.
It sports a 5-inch HD IPS display along with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by the 1.4GHz MediaTek MT6580 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-400 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The internal storage is just limited to 8GB while other devices with these specifications come at least with 16GB of storage.
There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto 32GB. It supports dual SIM dual standby but lacks the 4G LTE. On the camera front, it features same 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras that are featured on Canvas 5. While there is a front-facing LED flash on Canvas 5, the Canvas Amaze misses that.
It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and also includes FirstTouch keyboard that supports 10 Indian regional languages. The device also includes pre-loaded Bloatware apps like Hotstar, Clean Master, Saavn, Scandid and others. The 2,000mAh battery on this device is expected to provide 7 hours of talk time.
Earlier to this there, there is another entry-level phablet ‘Canvas Mega‘ from Micromax that listed online. It sports a 5.5-inch HD display and sports same specifications as the Canvas Amaze apart from the 1GB of RAM. The Mega also comes with larger 2,820mAh battery compared to the Canvas Amaze.
