Micromax Bolt Q383 with 512MB RAM & 4GB Storage Launched at Rs. 4,171
A new entry-level smartphone Micromax Bolt Q383 is now available in India for Rs. 4,171. Though there is no official announcement or a device listing on the official website, it is already available through offline stores, and we can found few listings on eBay as well. It sports basic specifications and comes with a polycarbonate body. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with dual SIM dual standby support.
It features a 5-inch display with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is an unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It has 512MB of RAM which we don’t think is enough for a lag-free Android experience. There is just 4GB of built-in storage, but the company has included a MicroSD card slot for expanding storage additionally upto 32GB.
The device is backed by a 1,800mAh battery that might not live upto a single day of usage. On the camera part, it has a 2MP rear camera with LED flash, on the front is a VGA selfie camera. Connectivity options on this device include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. In case, if you are looking for a smartphone around Rs. 5,000 price range, then we suggest you to have a look at the InFocus M260 that was officially priced at Rs. 4,199.
Unlike the Bolt Q383, the M260 comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It also includes better cameras and a slightly bigger battery. If you are for 4G LTE enabled device, then the LYF Flame 1 and Infocus Bingo 21 comes with LTE connectivity and VoLTE support. The Bingo 21 comes with an 8MP rear camera and 2GB of RAM for multitasking. The 5MP selfie camera is accompanied by an LED flash for capturing selfies even in dark light conditions.
