The Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has launched its new budget smartphone called Meizu Note 8 last month in China. It comes with powered by Snapdragon 632 Mobile Platform and sports 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras. The base variant of the Meizu Note 8 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 1298 (approx USD 187 / INR 13,400). Now, we are seeing leaks about the Meizu Note 8 Plus smartphone.
While there is no official confirmation from the company, the leaked images of the device reveals quad camera setup on the rear. As of now, the newly launched Samsung Galaxy A9 is the only smartphone to sport quad camera setup on the rear. The Note 8 Plus is rumored to sport Sony IMX362 primary sensor, depth sensor, super wide-angle sensor, and a telephoto sensor. Even the quad cameras on the Samsung Galaxy A9 came with same configuration.
Take these details with a pinch of salt and wait for the official confirmation. While we will start seeing triple rear camera setup in the budget smartphones from next year, we don’t think the leaked Meizu Note 8 Plus will be costing anything less than CNY 2000. It will be coming with the model number M1823 and sports metal unibody design. From the image, we can also find the power button and volume rocker on the right edge.
The dual LED flash and circular fingerprint sensor are placed on the top and bottom of the quad cameras module. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details about the upcoming smartphones!
