The Chinese smartphone company, Meizu has been teasing the launching of its new entry-level smartphone from the last few weeks. Today, the Meizu M5s is now officially launched at an event held in Beijing, China. It is the successor to the Meizu M5 which was launched in China in October last year. Few rumors also suggest the company to launch the Meizu M5 in India later this month. Talking about the newly launched Meizu M5s, it sports an all-metal body which is a big upgrade over the Meizu M5’s plastic body. The design looks similar Meizu M5 Note with the slightly curved metal body and rounded edges.

As seen with the other Meizu devices, the device comes with an oval shaped physical home button that supports gestures for various controls. The mTouch fingerprint sensor on the front also supports payment authorizations on AliPay and WeChat apps.

It also supports dual SIM dual standby with the hybrid SIM slot where the user can add two nano SIMs or one nano SIM and a MicroSD.
