Meizu has launched a new affordable smartphone called Meizu 6T today in India. The device comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants and will be available in Meteorite Black, Champagne Gold, and Coral Red color options. Talking about the build quality, the Meizu 6T sports polycarbonate shell. It will be on sale starting today for just 799 Yuan (approx $125 / Rs 8,500).
On the front is a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 × 720 pixels) In-cell display with 18:9 aspect ratio and comes with 2.5D curved glass laid on the top. It is backed by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. While the 3GB RAM variant comes with 32GB of internal storage, the 4GB RAM variant will be available with both 32GB and 64GB storage options.
There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage on this device. On the rear, there is a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the Meizu 6T comes with an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 4P lens. It is kept powered on by a 3,300mAh battery and supports up to 5V/1.5A charging input.
On the rear, there is also a fingerprint sensor for securely unlocking the device. It can also be used for making payments via AliPay and WeChat. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 152.3 x 73 x 8.4 mm and weighs 145 grams. Both the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge.
Coming to the pricing, the Meizu 6T with 3GB RAM is priced at 799 Yuan. The 4GB RAM variant with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage will be costing 999 Yuan and 1099 Yuan respectively. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
