For selfies, the Meizu 16Xs comes with a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras support portrait mode and HDR+.

It is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery and supports 18W mCharge fast charging. The Meizu 16Xs comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner which can also be used for authorizing payments on AliPay and WeChat. It also supports face unlock which uses the front camera to unlock. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie based Flyme 7 OS out of the box and includes the all-new Hyper Gaming mode. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port.
