Last month, Xiaomi and Meitu announced their new partnership where Xiaomi will be manufacturing and selling Meitu-branded smartphones. However, there is one Meitu smartphone popped up on TENAA with the model number MP101. The company now officially confirmed it as the Meitu V7 smartphone. It will also launch a limited edition Meitu V7 in partnership with Tonio Lamborghini.
We have already seen OPPO launching Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition smartphone in June this year. FYI, the Automobili Lamborghini and Tonio Lamborghini are two different companies. Even Tonio Lamborghini itself sells ultra luxury smartphones in the Western markets. As seen with the earlier launched Meitu smartphones, the limited edition Meitu V7 also continues in the unusual form factor with V-shaped top and bottom edges.
Talking about the cameras on the Meitu V7 Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition smartphone, the device will be coming with 12MP + 12MP + 8MP triple selfie cameras on the front and 12MP + 8MP dual cameras on the rear. With the thick bezels, the device will be coming with a front-facing fingerprint sensor. It sports a 6.21-inch AMOLED notch display with Full HD+ (2248 × 1080 pixels) resolution.
Under the hood, the device is expected to come powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform. It will offer 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. We will be knowing complete details about the Meitu V7 Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition smartphone during the official launch event scheduled for tomorrow in China.
