Martian Watches, a US-based fashionable smartwatch maker has introduced its smartwatch in India, exclusively via Flipkart, the leading e-retailer in the country. The Martian Notifier smartwatch is company’s budget offering priced at INR 9,999, which supports both, the iOS and Android devices.

Currently, available to Pre-order from Flipkart, the Martian Notifier smartwatch is set to be released by October 10 this year, ahead of the Holiday season in the country.

The fashion-focused smartwatch will be coming with support of more than 1000 Android and iOS apps including the ones from major organizations like, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, Skype, Gmail, LinkedIn and much more. The device features an analog design, while integrating the small graphic OLED display with a resolution of 96×16 pixels resolution, which is placed just below the analog dial.

It’s most basic purpose is to give you notification alerts like Caller ID, text messages, as well as notifications from all the supported apps installed on your smartphone. The wearable tech establishes connection with your smartphone via the Bluetooth enabled functionality on the device. Besides, it also has ability to dismiss the notification by just tapping on the smartwatch’s glass, as well as snooze the notification if you want to get reminded again about that notification.

Moreover, it has abilities like remote control access of your smartphone’s camera, which can also be set to the 3-second timer. You will be able to locate the smartphone that was paired with the watch. Other notable features include alarm functionality, hourly alerts, digital time display, and as well as you can check local weather conditions on the Martian Notifier Smartwatch.

The device flaunts its stainless bezel and clasp, as it looks more stylish than any other Smartwatches available in the country, which includes Samsung Gear Live and the LG G Watch. With being available under a budget price tag, considering the smartwatch market is new, the Martian Notifier Smartwatch is not just able to show you notification alerts. But it also has functionality to filter the unnecessary notifications, so that you won’t constantly get disturb. You can set the vibration patterns, which will allow you to understand who is messaging or which app is notifying you.

The Companion app for this wearable tech is available in the respective app stores of Android and iOS devices. And it is worth noticing that the device is compatible with Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and iOS 7 or higher versions.

It comes with the support of accelerometer sensor, which means it will be able to support few fitness apps too. Smartwatch measures 43.2 x 43.2 x 12.7 mm and weighs only 52 grams. The built-in lithium-ion battery can last up to six days and only takes up to 3 hours, to juice up the battery. While the analog dial is powered by a separate battery that will run for up to two years.

The Martian Notifier Smartwatch will be available in three color options, Black, Red, and White. Whereas you can easily customize the straps with different colors like, Orange, Yellow, Teal, Blue, Purple, and Pink.

With wearables market around the world is getting crowded with smartwatches, the India is yet to see the activities in this market. But now that smartwatches like this releasing in India, the future seems competitive to the Android Wear smartwatches from LG, Samsung, and Motorola.
