MACOOX EX1 Entry-Level Smartphone with 9000mAh Battery Announced

The smartphones with 4,000mAh battery capacities don’t make us feel any special now. There are even few manufacturers like Gionee that has a special line-up of devices like Marathon series. Now a smartphone manufacturer based out of China called ‘Macoox‘ which we haven’t heard earlier had shown up a device with a whopping 9,000mAh battery.

Until now we have few smartphones with 5,000mAh batteries but the 9,000mAh feels like a huge number, normally most of the brands launches 10,000mAh power bank that are also one of the higher capacities to offer. Talking about the smartphone, it is named as Macoox EX1 and is placed in the entry-level segment sporting basic specs required for a smartphone.

It comes with a 4.5-inch display and is powered by an unknown quad-core processor. The device has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot. It also supports 4G LTE networks in China. On the camera front, it has an 8MP shooter on the back and a 2MP selfie camera.

Talking about the 9,000mAh battery, we also want to inform that the device measures around 14-16 mm thick and that too with a 4.5-inch display. Oukitel, another Chinese brand that had launched Oukitel K4000 with 4,000mAh battery had already showcased the device with 10,000mAh in one of their videos. But the device is not yet official unveiled, we can expect the device to launch in the next couple of months. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the devices.
