LYF Flame 2, Wind 4, Water 7 Smartphones Listed Online, Price Starts from Rs. 5,549

Last month we saw three new smartphones announcement from Reliance’s LYF. The LYF Flame 2, Wind 4, Water 7 are announced in the last week of February and supports 4G LTE as seen with the other LYF Branded devices. At the time of the announcement, the company hasn’t mentioned about the exact availability date and also the pricing of the devices. Now we have complete pricing and the specifications of the devices.

The LYF Flame 2 is the second device in the Flame series; the LYF Flame 1 is the first that launched earlier. At the time of the announcement, the LYF Flame 2 is said to be priced at Rs. 4,999 but now the device is listed at Rs. 5,549. At this price, there are few other alternatives that also offers 4G LTE. It features a 4-inch FWGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6735M quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz. The device includes 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.

It has a 5MP autofocus rear camera with an LED flash and a 2MP fixed focus camera on the front. The device is backed by a 1,500mAh battery that is rated to deliver 7.5 hours of talk time and lasts upto 190 hours on standby. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and offers basic connectivity options including 4G LTE & VoLTE. The device comes with dual SIM dual standby option and supports 4G LTE on anyone of SIM. It measures 124.2 x 64.8 x 10.3 mm and weighs 145 grams. The Flame 2 will be available in the colors – Black, White, Dark Blue, and Dark Red.

As said earlier, the LYF Wind 4 is the rebranded Haier L51 and packs a 4,000mAh battery. The device is priced at Rs. 9,699 and comes with below par specifications. It sports a 5-inch display with just HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz, with such a low-powered processor the user might not get the same Android experience as other devices at this price range. It also has just 1GB of RAM which is a big let down; there are even smartphones with 3GB RAM at this price range.

The device has 8GB of storage that can be further expandable upto 32GB. It has an 8MP rear shooter with LED flash and a 2MP front camera for selfies. The 4,000mAh battery on this device is said to give upto 28 hours of talk time and lasts upto 630 hours on standby. Connectivity options on this dual SIM include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.

Unlike the earlier mentioned two days, the LYF Water 7 comes with an all metal body and is priced at Rs. 18,750. The design of the device resembles with the ZTE V Plus that was launched in China in January. The device features a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and a dragon trail protection glass laid on top. The device is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

The Water 7 comes with 16GB of internal storage and a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto 128GB. In the camera department, the device sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery can last upto 150 hours on standby. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports dual SIM dual standby. Connectivity on this device includes 4G LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0. The Water 7 will be available in both Gold and Silver colors.
