LG’s G6 is now available for Rs. 41,990 in India for limited period, gets Rs 10,000 price cut



LG is offering a flat discount of Rs. 10,000 on its flagship device LG G6 in India for a limited period. The smartphone was initially launched in the country for the price of Rs. 51,990 and under the new BYOD offer the device will be available for the discounted price from 18th of May to June 15th. This information is according to a Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom who has tweeted the same along with some images.

The LG G6 which is available in Ice Platinum, Mystic White, and Astro Black color variants is also available via for a discount of Rs. 5000 cashback for HDFC and SBI card holders on the original price. From the Promo image that has been circulating, we can see that there is some launch offers that are included and there is also a 50% off on LG Tone Active+ HBS-A100 headset a free back case worth Rs.1000 and also a Free EA special gifts worth Rs. 14,100 for six games.

Coming to the specifications of the handset, the LG G6 comes with a 5.7-inch QHD+ with a resolution of 1440 x 2880 with a unique 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, and there is 64GB of internal memory that can be further extended up to 2TB via microSD card. There is a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP sensor which will be accompanied with 5MP camera on the front with the wide-angle lens.

The device comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and has LG UX 6.0 UI on the top. The device will be competing against the devices like Samsung’s latest Galaxy S8 which is priced at Rs. 57,900 in India.
