Earlier this week, LG has officially announced the LG Q7, Q7+, & Q7α smartphones with 18:9 FullVision displays. Today, we got to know some key details about two new budget smartphones from LG. The LG X2 (2018) & X5 (2018) will be coming with entry-level specifications. However, we are yet to get the first look at the device. Unlike the newly launched LG Q7 smartphones, the 2018 LG X2 and X5 comes with standard 16:9 displays.
While the LG X2 sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display, the LG X5 features a slightly larger 5.5-inch display with the same HD resolution. The LG X2 (2018) will come powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. It offers 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Talking about the cameras, the LG X2 (2018) will be offering a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies.
It comes backed by a 2,410mAh battery. On the other hand, the LG X5 (2018) offers MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. In terms of optics, the 2018 LG X5 offers a 13MP camera on the rear and a 3MP camera on the front. With the slightly larger form factor, the LG X5 (2018) is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that is also mentioned to support fast charging.
Both the device also comes with a face unlock and fingerprint sensor. The LG X5 (2018) will also support LG Pay in Korea for making mobile payments. According to the source, these two devices will go on sale starting June 2018.
