LG X Cam & X Screen Smartphones with Android 6.0 Marshmallow Announced

LG is all set to unveil its flagship smartphone LG G5 at the Mobile World Congress 2016. Apart from the flagship, the company will be launching few more devices at the event. Last year, the company introduced all new high-end V series and mid-range K series smartphones. Today, it has unveiled a new X series smartphones by announcing the LG X Cam and LG X Screen mid-range smartphones. They will be launched at the MWC 2016 which is just a week away and will be available in the selected markets in Asia, Latin America, and Europe starting from March. LG X Cam
This is the larger device among of the two with a screen size of 5.2-inches. It comes with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution In-cell display and is powered by an unknown octa-core processor clocked at 1.14GHz. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot option. It runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with UX UI overlaid. It is backed by a 2,520mAh battery and offers 4G LTE connectivity.
The USP of the device is its dual rear camera setup with 13MP and 5MP cameras that offers DSLR-like Bokeh effect. The users can also focus the photo after capturing the image. If the rumors are to be believed, the LG G5 will also come with same dual rear camera setup. On the front is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. It measures 147.5 x 73.6 x 6.9 mm and weighs only 118 grams. The X Cam will be available in Titan Silver, White, Gold, Pink and Gold color options.

LG X Screen
The LG X Screen looks more like a lite variant of LG V10 with its always-on secondary display. It comes with 4.93-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) In-cell display and also a 1.76-inch LCD secondary display with a resolution of 520 x 80 pixels. The Always-On display shows the notifications, frequently used apps, date, time, battery status and other in-app options. Under the hood is the quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
It has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The device is kept powered by a 2,300mAh battery which is slightly smaller than that of 2,520mAh battery on X Cam. The X Screen also runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It includes 4G LTE along with other basic connectivity options. The device comes in the colors – White, Black and Pink Gold.
