Back in August, LG unveiled its latest flagship smartphone LG V30 at the IFA 2017 event. As of now, the device is sold only in a few major markets. Recently, we have reported about the launch of LG V30+ as LG V35 in Japan. Today, we got some exclusive information about India launch of the LG V30 smartphone. As per our source, the LG V30 will be launched next month in India for Rs. 47,990. The device packs top-notch specifications and is one of the well designed LG smartphones we have ever seen.

It comes with curved glass on the front and rear with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The LG V30 sports a 6-inch Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) FullVision OLED display and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. Under the hood is the 2.35GHz Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The device comes with 64GB and 128GB storage options and there is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 2TB.

Coming to the cameras, the LGV30 offers dual camera setup on the rear featuring 16MP sensor with f/1.6 aperture and 13MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and 120-degree wide-angle lens. It supports Hybrid Auto Focus, OIS and EIS. There is also a mere 5MP front camera with a 90-degree angle of view. If you are a sound enthusiast, you should be excited about the 32-bit advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC on this device. It said to offer customizable options like digital filters and sound presets.

We also expect the company to include the B&O Play headset within the package in India. The LG V30 is also IP68 certified making it water and dust resistant. It also got the military grade durability with the MIL-STD-810G certification. It measures 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3 mm and weighs 158 grams. The volume rocker is on the left edge, while the power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear.

The device is backed by a 3,300mAh non-removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. With the Quick Charge 3.0, the devices can be charged from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes. Just like in Japan, we might also get the LG V30 with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
